Sprouted Chickpea Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas (preferably sprouted chickpeas, either cooked or raw)
  • 1/2 cup tahini (sesame paste)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juice of
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • water, as needed
  • chopped fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients (except the fresh cilantro) to a food processor. Blend until smooth, adding a little water until you get the consistency you desire.
  • Garnish with fresh cilantro or parley, drizzle with additional olive oil, and sprinkle with cumin and paprika.
  • Enjoy!
