Arugula Walnut Feta Salad

This Arugula Walnut Feta Salad is refreshing, nourishing, and the perfect answer to the need for a little detoxing!

Arugula Walnut Feta Salad

I had the pleasure of tasting a salad similar to this in a Middle Eastern restaurant last summer, and have been dreaming about it ever since (I know it’s weird, I dream about salads). I was happy to discover how quick and easy it was to recreate this salad at home.

Arugula, also called rocket lettuce (جرجير jarjeer in Arabic), is a tangy, leafy green vegetable. It’s not only delicious, but also contains loads of nutrients.

Some of the many benefits of arugula include:

  • A cancer-fighting food with high levels of antioxidants.
  • Improves heart health and lowers inflammation.
  • A great source of vitamin K, vitamin A, and folate, and beta-carotene.
