Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Avocado is an amazing form of healthy fat which you can easily hide in this rich, creamy, delicious Chocolate Avocado Mousse.

Chocolate Avocado Mousse

When I was a kid, I used to love Jello pudding. It was a favorite after-school snack. But little did we know that it was packed with over 5 spoons of sugar per serving, not to mention toxic artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. So basically I was eating my entire daily recommended allowance of sugar in about 5 minutes. 🙁

This Chocolate Avocado Mousse is an infinitely better choice! Plus it’s fast and easy to make.

Studies have shown that avocado can reduce your cholesterol levels and help protect your heart. And it’s rich fat content helps your body to absorb the fat soluble vitamins, such as vitamins A, D, E, and K.

As if that wasn’t enough, this Chocolate Avocado Mousse also provides:

  • protein and more healthy fats from the nut (or seed) butter.
  • antioxidants from the cocoa powder (good for your heart and may also help to lower your risk of infections and some forms of cancer).
  • potassium, Vitamin B6, and fiber from the bananas.
  • natural sweetness from the dates and honey.
