Broccoli Salad

This Broccoli Salad is incredibly nourishing and bursting with flavor. It’s one of my absolute favorite salads!

Broccoli Salad

Broccoli is an amazing vegetable which:

  • Prevents cancer. See here for more cancer-fighting foods.
  • Fights aging and age-related skin and cognitive changes.
  • Lowers blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
  • Improves the health of your bones.
  • Aids in wound healing.
  • And improves hormonal health and fertility.

This Broccoli Salad also contains apple cider vinegar, another incredible food which helps with:

  • Acid Reflux and Heartburn.
  • Yeast Infections.
  • Gives you a boost of energy.
  • Stabilizes blood sugar levels in diabetes.
  • Lowers cholesterol levels.
  • Weight loss.
  • Reduces mucus, sinus congestion, and allergy symptoms.
  • And detoxes your liver.

All of this, and I haven’t even mentioned the 7 other ingredients in this salad, each of which have their own long list of health benefits! Food is truly the best medicine!

Be sure to follow the instructions and make this salad at least a few hours before serving. Or it can even be made the day before. This allows the flavors to blend and makes a big difference in the taste.

Don’t you have to blanch the broccoli first.?

No Umm Khalid, you eat the broccoli raw in this salad. But as I mention in the instructions, it’s better to make it a few hours ahead of serving so that the flavors of the dressing can blend with the broccoli. It’s super delish!

This looks really good! I just made some soy yogurt in my Instant Pot and it’s a little bit bitter on its own. I’ll try it in this recipe – the honey and ACV should be the perfect mix for it.

Let me know how it turns out Meghan! Make sure you prepare this salad a few hours ahead of serving, for maximum flavor.

This was really good Laura! I ended up using culinary coconut milk instead of yogurt because I ran out….and I threw in a can of chickpeas for some extra protein. Yummy!! I love that it will be well-suited to some different additions to go as a side with various meals. I’m thinking cilantro and sesame seeds in my next batch!

This salad is absolutely delicious refreshing and healthy. Usually most broccoli salads have mayonnaise in it’s dressing but i liked the way u replaced it with yogurt.
