Fruit Crisp

Warm and bubbling fruit topped with a crunchy oat, cinnamon, and pecan topping…this Fruit Crisp is one of my favorite treats.

Fruit Crisp

This Fruit Crisp is naturally sweetened and gluten free.

For this dish I’ve used cherries, but feel free to use other fruits- such as apples, peaches, pears, apricots or strawberries. Or a combination of any of these fruits.

Cherries are packed with nutrients and contain:

  • anti-inflammatory compounds which can help to relieve arthritis pain.
  • cancer-fighting compounds.
  • the ability to decrease the risk of gout, a painful inflammatory joint condition.
  • powerful antioxidants (which protect you from heart disease, cancer, and many other diseases).

We love to eat this with either freshly whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Delicious!
